IGT Manager Sales I in Bridgetown, Barbados

Primary Role: This position is responsible for developing and implementing Sales strategies attaining the sales targets for lottery and etus products and services in the various territories. Supervise, oversees and supports the Sales Team in various sites in the Leeward Islands (Barbados, St Maarten, Antigua, USVI, St Kitts, Anguila) to grow sales. Coordinates sales initiatives, activities, sales trainings on new products to ensure implementation of strategies. Is the main liaison with external stakeholders, specifically Retail Agents.

Duties and Responsibilities include:

  • Developing effective sales strategies in conjunction with the Marketing strategies that are dually focused on achieving maximum sales results.

  • Implementing sales strategies in each assigned territory in line with development.

  • Manages the sales functions in each jurisdiction by formulating and developing short and long term sales plans and programs to achieve POS optimization and site specific sales targets/goals.

  • Monitoring the sales trends in each site. Collecting, analyzing and evaluating sales information and performance against monthly sales goals in order to increase productivity.

  • Oversees the preparation of monthly, weekly and/or daily sales analysis and/or status as well as evaluating strategic plan impacts and reporting to the Site Managers and Country Manager on status of implementation of sales initiatives.

  • Supervise field sales personnel (Agent Reps) in various sites to grow sales and achieve annual organizational targets. Supporting the Site Managers, Office Managers, Cashiers, and FMR teams in attaining sales targets.

  • Developing and providing ideas to sales initiatives and subsequently promote them and monitor responses.

  • Acts as primary liaison between all departments and agent reps to ensure effectiveness of sales plans and programs. He/she is fully

  • Serves as the primary conduit of best practice techniques between other lottery and commercial service operations and our individual territory adoptions, including trade marketing materials, sales techniques, training curriculum, and other related areas

  • Preparing proposals, agreements, sales reports, and presentations for internal and external customers/recruits. Providing sales support involving efficient handling of top Agents and confidential agreements.

  • Assign sales targets to Sales Reps. Assess Sales Reps performance in various sites. Coordinates the activities of sales staff regionally. Supervises and reviews Agent Reps records and reports. Prepares and manages the sales incentive program.

  • Promoting the company’s products and services to new and existing customers through a proactive approach, both directly as well as through leading and planning the coordinated activities of our agent reps. Assists in promoting sales, provide information regarding upcoming promotions, changes and sales. Completes special projects and promotions as directed.

  • Oversees, develops, plans and facilitates new Sales Reps and Retailer training on lottery and commercial service products, equipment and business process. Monitors and oversees new retailer installation of new stores and optimization of current network in all sites.

  • Oversees the effective distribution, launches, visibility and trade marketing strategies of instant ticket products by monitoring kpis and retail execution.

  • Attending network and promotional events to develop and maintain contact with potential clients and professional bodies. Liaises with Brand Managers, Site Manager, Office Managers to ensure successful promotions.

  • Conduct sales meetings to inform team of new developments, changes in games, products, policies and to resolve Agent Rep and Retailer problems. Coordinating and responding to all internal or external requests for meetings.

  • Advises Sales Representatives of company’s sales promotion programs and counsels regarding their follow-up in the field.

  • Visiting LILHCO/IGT sites to meet Agent Reps, evaluate sites sales performance and implementation of sales strategy. Instructs Sales Representatives in the use of selling aids.

  • Generates reports to assist Sales Representatives with increasing sales, simplify and streamline daily activities.

  • Assist in conducting performance reviews of Agents. Advises Office Managers of sales problems and the performance of Agent Reps and implements corrective actions.

  • Any other reasonable duties assigned by Country Manager or Site Operations Manager related to the operation of the business

Position Requirements:

Education and Experience

  1. Bachelor’s Degree in business or sales/marketing or related field

  2. At least 5 years of related sales experience in a Supervisory position

  3. Holder of a valid Driver’s License, and a good driving record.
