PRIMARY ROLE

To prospect for new clients/business by networking, cold calling, advertising or any other means; plan persuasive approaches and pitches, to convince potential clients to partner with us to generate new business.

Develop rapports with new clients, set targets for sales, and provide support to improve client relationships while growing and retaining existing accounts. Develop strategic plans, work with mid and senior level management to develop the pipeline of new business within the company.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Research and identify potential client organizations, and their decision makers to establish new business relationships and a rapport with them.

  • Prospect for potential new clients and turn this into increased business and client relations.

  • Cold call as appropriate within the market or geographic area to ensure a robust pipeline of opportunities. Manage and coordinate client relations.

  • Work with team members to plan approaches and pitches that respond to client’s needs.

  • Prepare persuasive approaches by studying costs of collection, costs of target companies and internal industry information. Participate in pricing the solution/service.

  • Design, develop and implement short, mid-term and long term business strategies and plans to ensure compliance with objectives.

  • Develops and effectively executes comprehensive account penetration plans, strategies, and contract renewals to maintain client retention.

  • Lead contract modifications that improve our business position and create a climate of cooperation and partnership with providers.

  • Work closely with our existing customers to understand their overall business needs.

  • Organizes internal teamwork and execution to meet existing needs of customers

  • Ensures the provision of timely, efficient and appropriate service to current accounts.

  • Present new products and services and enhance existing relationships.

  • Arrange and participate in internal and external client debriefs.

  • Attend industry functions such as association events and meetings to provide feedback and information on market and creative trends.

  • Present to and consult with mid and senior level management on business trends with a view to developing new services, products, and distribution channels.

  • Identify opportunities for campaigns, services, and distribution channels that will lead to an increase in sales.

  • Identify and develop the company’s unique selling propositions and differentiators.

  • Submit weekly progress reports and ensure data is accurate, entered and managed within the company’s CRM or other sales management system.

  • Forecast sales targets and ensure they are met by the team.

  • Track and record activity on accounts and help to close deals to meet these targets.

  • Work with marketing staff to plan for marketing campaigns and promotions aimed to launch new products, services and communicate new customers in our commercial services network.

  • Plan, develop, and manage medium to long-term special projects, as assigned by the ADM, including potentially budgetary management efforts.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include:

  • Responsible for business development with new and potential clients and for financial results of any new business Unit (income, expenses, and contribution margin).

REQUIREMENTS

Scope:

  • Local. Experience:

  • 5 years in similar position.

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business and 3 years of Sales or Marketing experience in Retail or Services Companies.
