The Human Resource Business Partner (HRBP) plans, conducts, communicates and coordinates human resources activities and programs for North America Organization – Central East Region. The HRBP leads Human Resources practices and objectives that will provide an employee-oriented, high performance culture that emphasizes empowerment, quality, productivity, standards, goal attainment, recruitment and ongoing development of a superior workforce. This person will be able to influence change across the organization and must be able to partner with the local leadership team in defining HR needs and developing the scope of the related projects. In this role you will be required to set and manage to tight timelines and partner well within IGT organizations. This position will be based in Michigan and report to the Senior Director of HR for IGT’s Central East Region.
You serve as the primary point of contact for employees in Michigan and other smaller sites in the Central East Region (some travel will be required) implementing integral HR services specific to:
employee relations, training, and development.
provide full life cycle recruitment and selection support. This includes sourcing, screening, interviewing and selecting applicants for hiring managers to consider for employment.
partner with management to drive HR initiatives including integrated talent management, performance management, compensation management, succession planning, and organizational development strategies as we further expand our human capital capabilities and processes.
Serves as contact for employees; answers question regarding policies and procedures. such as orientation sessions, managing and enhance onboarding experience, exit interviews and preparing and presenting unemployment claims.
5 - 7 years of experience as a Generalist/HR Business Partner performing all aspects of HR.
Bachelor’s in Human Resources, Organization Development, Business Administration, or other related field required. Master’s degree a plus
Prior experience working for a large corporation supporting 300+ employee group
Strong structured project management experience through execution phase
Demonstrated leaderships skills and able to influence change
Demonstrated effectiveness and experience in delivering organizational change programs.
Successful working in a fast paced, matrix environment, with a track record of accomplishments with measurable business impact
Excellent communication skills and able to create and present clear management presentations
Must be flexible and open to change
Strong business acumen
SPHR or GPHR strongly desired
