This position designs, installs, maintains and administers Software Development Lifecycle Tools. Responsibilities include applying updates and patches, implementing upgrades, end user support, project support and disaster recovery of JIRA and ConnectALL software.
Provide day-to-day support, administration, maintenance, and enhancement of JIRA and ConnectALL. This may require some on-call duties
Provide support of other Software Development Lifecycle tools as necessary, such as DOORS and Confluence
Maintain system documentation, including disaster recovery plans, associated with Software Development Lifecycle tools
Testing and Installation of JIRA, ConnectALL and Confluence plug-ins and upgrades
Assist in the design of software with clearly defined functional requirements with the help of more senior software engineers
Participates in the design of test cases for software module changes
Participates in group design discussions and expected to understand basic software design but should not be expected to provide concrete input to these decisions
Help research and utilize industry methods, techniques, and best practices
Basic Proficiency in Software Development, Software Design, Software Testing, Software Maintenance, Software Configuration Mgt. Software Engineering Tools and Software Quality
Perform basic Windows and Linux system administration tasks
Performs logical security log reviews for audit compliance. Detects, reports and escalates anomalies.
Performs preventive maintenance checks on systems and servers
Requires only minor supervision from more senior software engineers to troubleshoot and make repairs on isolated modules. All changes must be reviewed by senior software engineer prior to submission.
SQL, REST and Linux experience preferred but not required
