Overall Purpose and Objective:

The Trainer I is responsible for the delivery of technical training activities that contribute to the implementation of on-line, instant, video and other lottery systems and products. This position assists with the development of training courses and programs.


  • Conduct training classes for new and existing staff using established training programs that include instructor-led classes, distance learning programs, train-the-trainer and hands-on experience and testing programs.

  • Participates in the development and validation of new training programs.

  • Support customers of all levels by learning customer-specific requirements to enhance training programs.

  • Track all training and testing data, provide status reports and training wrap-up reports to management.

  • Attend training classes as required to enhance expertise relevant to job activities and to achieve certification based on department standards.

  • Assists with the implementation and maintenance of training environments or setup of training equipment, dependent upon the domain-specific training.

  • Assists the Senior Trainer with the Training Needs Analysis/Business Analysis and costing processes.


  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent years of experience

  • 2-4 years’ experience in customer service and experience in training or teaching required
