The Product Manager is a core member of the INTELLIGEN Product Management team responsible to ensure our product remains the industry’s leading CMS. INTELLIGEN is IGT’s flagship Video Lottery Central Management System (CMS) providing customers the necessary functionality to properly and securely manage a network of Electronic Gaming Machines.
The Product Manager owns the entire product throughout its life-cycle and is the primary point of contact for product related questions from both internal and external stakeholders.
Must develop and maintain a complete understanding of the product functionality, features and benefits
Own the 1-3 year product roadmap
Convert market needs to functional requirements and work with the Technology teams to bring roadmap items to the market
Provide know-how and problem-solving advice to commercial and product marketing teams engaging with prospective INTELLIGEN customers, throughout the sales cycle, as well as existing customers exploring new INTELLIGEN features and components.
Prepare, maintain and deliver technical presentations and product demonstrations explaining INTELLIGEN to customers, prospective customer and trade show attendees
Primary team point of contact during RFP response initiatives
Support project teams in the delivery of the INTELLIGEN central system
Create detailed product specifications, business cases and go-to-market plans
Represent and communicate product strategy and vision in line with the businesses long-term goals to both internal and external stakeholders.
Product lifecycle management from concept to phasing out of product(s).
Collaborate with Product Marketing, Sales, Business Development, Engineering, and Account Management to develop go-to-market strategy, define pricing and competitive positioning
Manage R&D budgets, forecasts, metrics and measures. Monitor and evaluate the results.
3-5 years of product development related experience that includes customer facing roles
Must have extensive knowledge of software-based products
Excellent written, verbal, and face to face communication skills, both technical and non-technical.
Strong interpersonal skills needed, both for building relationships with clients and technology team members
Ability to travel (15%-20%) to meet with technology team members, customers, as well as trade shows.
BS degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related field strongly desired
Experience in the Lottery and/or Gaming industry a strong plus.
Advanced competency with Microsoft Office Suite (Example: Excel, PowerPoint, and Project)
