Description The role of the Project Manager Admin will be to plan, schedule, facilitate and track all aspects of semi-complex product related projects requiring coordination across multiple departments of IGT Plan and schedule all aspects of project development in addition to problem resolution if critical path is threatened.
Responsible for the development of the project scope definition, change management, and risk assessment Maintains project data in SAP. Report to management the progress/status and issues on each project/game assigned during the project development cycle.
Facilitate meetings with technical groups and/or organizations, game design, engineering, firmware, video graphics/production, glass design, legal, licensing, contractors, operations groups, and management for each project. May be assigned overhead projects in addition to individual game projects such as: Standards Management, ISO Documentation, Project Management Training Plan, Metrics/Analysis, Development of Process Flows, Development of Project Models, etc. Special Projects may be assigned periodically.
Responsibilities include scheduling, supporting contract creation/implementation, project plans, commitment management, and overall project management with outside companies. Prepare reports for management on 3rd Party performance, schedule trade-off considerations, project status, plans, etc. Requires basic knowledge and understanding of order cycle business processes and procedures. Makes recommendations for improvement on existing processes, standards, and procedures.
First Year Goals To be discussed with Manger within first week of hire.
•Associate degree required; BS or BA degree preferred. Must be well organized, detail oriented, and possess excellent written and verbal communication skills to interact with all organizations and outside developers as well as a group or presentation setting.
•Must be able to work independently and have the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously. Candidate must have the ability to lead a Team in a dynamic/changing and demanding environment, and have a high level of interpersonal skills.
•Relies on extensive experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Possess the ability to work independently and efficiently.
•Must be able to travel as required. Must be proficient in software applications which include: Word, Excel, MS Project, PowerPoint, Access, Visio, SAP, and PS.
•Some travel will be required. Knowledge of IGT product and gaming industry is a plus. Must be able to obtain a gaming card upon employment.
